Challenge
DeKalb County Business Licensing was challenged with an implementation of a software system that was implemented for another department without full consideration of the business licensing needs. The department had become reactionary rather than proactive in its activities and was no longer performing normal licensing activities such as enforcement and auditing.
Solution
e2 Assure utilized our ABCM tools initially to determine current operational procedures. During this initial assessment it was discovered that well over $3M in receivables hadn't been addressed. Within 2 months e2 Assure was able to help DeKalb recover over $2.5M. In addition, e2 Assure identified that an estimated 10-15% of the businesses in the county were not licensed.

Forsyth County was challenged with defining the requirements for a new criminal Justice system that would combine the data from 12 systems into 1. The new systeme would necesitate interfacing with 11 agencies and would need to meet the requirements of 10 county offices.
Solution
e2 Assure utilized our ABCM tools to identify the areas of greatest inefficiency, and tailored the RFP requirements to most effectively address the waste. e2 Assure managed the vendor selection process, in coordination with purchasing and the county attorney, reviewing all vendor responses and pricing. e2 Assure negotiated the contracts with the vendors, determined the total cost of ownership, eliminated unnecessary functionality, and reduced cost on items that were over market value.
